Am I gullible? or should we really expect the leader of our nation to be on top of every single action and decision of those that work for him?
OK he needs to be accountable, but the fact is he was fooled by one of his reports who was in turn it seems fooled by a Labour party sponsor. At least the dosh is being returned
The funny thing about deceit is that it is, spookily enough, designed to deceive. David Abrahams skillfully mis-directed people to serve his own ends. He is the guy that should be under scrutiny. In that sense every one affected is a victim of his unscupulous behaviour.
Just ask him simply 'what was his purpose in using proxies for his donations?' His answer should be interesting.

Foolish Pride

UK Security Minister Lord West looks like he could be guilty of hubris with his claims that UK security is 'dramatically' better that it has been and that "I think we're ahead of all countries in the world on the protection front, which is great"
As we know Pride goes before a fall and Lord West might find himself re-enacting the part of Geroge in The Fastest Gun Alive as the baddies seek to prove him wrong.
Perhaps his friends should give him the link to Gullibility

Drunk? You Could Have Fooled Me!

Well what a surprise!, a new report out Energy Drink Mixers Increase Harm says that "Young people who mix energy drinks with alcohol are twice as likely to end up harmed than those who just drink alcohol"
According to Professor Martin Plant, an alcohol expert (nothing like a bit of hands on research to substantiate your report) at the University of the West of England, said: "Energy drinks are a stimulant and any stimulant is associated with risk-taking behaviours". Such as flying with imaginary wings perhaps? There's certainly no fooling this guy when it comes to statements of the very obvious.
So why has Taurine been banned in certain countries - DOH!

Only a Fool Would Join Mensa

Well that's not really true check out these gems.
Here is the Washington Post's Mensa Invitational which once again asked readers to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing one letter, and supply a new definition. Here are some winners:
Ignoranus : A person who's both stupid and an asshole.
Bozone ( n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future.
Sarchasm : The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn't get it.
Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.
