What's this? Nintendo taking gaming into a whole new social space? The brilliance of Wii Fit in turning a home entertainment device into a health and well-being tool seems to have been surpassed by a venture into the protection of sex workers
A quick glance at the headline -WI asked to help tackle sex trade and I'm thinking that some brand development guys at the games company have surely taken the idea of brand extension a step too far.
A second glance and...wiive clearly been fooled. It's the Women's Institute

Chains and Fools
Somebody somewhere is having a laugh and the joke seems to have been at the expense of the British public.
Have you heard the one about the bank robber who is laughing all the way to the bank? perhaps the con artist who is just pulling your leg? or the mugger who did a bit of slapstick?
A comedian in the prison service at Whitemore prison Cambridgeshire seems to think that criminals should be allowed to laugh their crimes off whilst doing porridge.
What a punch line for the law abiding citizen. For them its worry about the credit crunch, worry about redundancy and home repossesion, oh and pay your taxes so that criminals can have a jolly good time in HMP Giggle.
Not funny.

Dam Fools
Dam Fools have been video'd extreme kayaking.
They would, of course, expect the emergency services to be on hand to fish them out of difficulty.
I guess this will now become the aquatic version of base jumping. Watch out The Hoover Dam.
Anyone got any suggestions for where it'll happen next?

David Norris's Football Foolishness
David Norris of Ipswich Town should be ashamed of the puerile and insensitive gesture he made to celebrate the trivial act of scoring a goal for his club.
It beggars belief how anybody could be so disregarding of the fact the his gesture was in support of a man who in prison for killing two children by reckless driving.
I'd like to ask Mr Norris which bit of this tragedy he feels is worthy of his contempt. He is an utter disgrace. I regret that there seems little prospect that there is any chance that this fool will develop the intelligence and sensitivity that would mark him as a 'man' rather than a buffoon.
