How Many Fools Are There?

image credit Wikipedia ref: William Shenstone

According to 18th century British poet William Shenstone, the population of the planet can be divided as follows:

Fools 15%
Persons with common sense 40%
Wits 15%
Pedants 15%
Persons of wild taste 10%
Persons of improved taste 5%

So there we have it! FMB represents 15%, which by reckoning is a 'niche', which in turns means I have met one of the classic rules of bogging.

Now that should simply be regarded as floccinaucinihilipilification

A word first used in 1741 by Mr Shentsone and the longest word in the dictionary.
